Veterans Benefits Seminar Friday at Remington
Disabled American Veterans will host a Benefits Information Seminar from 9 a.m. to noon this Friday, Oct. 28 at the American Legion in Remington.
The non-profit charity provides lifelong support to veterans of all generations and their families, helping more than one million veterans each year in positive and life-changing ways, according to a statement. .
One of the various services that DAV offers free to veterans is its informational seminar program. These seminars are available nationwide to help veterans and their families obtain the services and benefits they have earned, the statement said.
Led by National DAV Service Officers, the seminars provide professional support throughout the claims and appeals process.
Veterans attending a seminar should bring proper identification, Social Security number, and any other relevant documentation regarding their military service. DAV membership is not required to use these free services.
