PowerTrunk, Inc., in conjunction with local partner Williams Communication Services, presented a “PowerTrunk Day” seminar on October 18, 2022 in Toronto at the Delta Hotel by Marriott.
PowerTrunk, Inc., in conjunction with local partner Williams Communication Services, presented a “PowerTrunk Day” seminar on October 18, 2022 in Toronto at the Delta Hotel by Marriott. The event provided an opportunity for attendees to learn more about PowerTrunk’s portfolio of critical communications products based on TETRA digital technology, as well as details and status of various TETRA project references at Canada and the United States.
Recognizing that Williams Communication Services is a 100% Indigenous or minority-owned business in Canada, the seminar opened with a welcoming ceremony performed by the Anishinaabe Traditional Knowledge Keeper and Grandmother traditional Kim Wheatly. She is Anishinaabe and Potawatomie from the Shawanaga First Nation Reserve.
This was followed by a series of presentations regarding PowerTrunk’s TETRA solutions, product updates and several case studies for the public safety, public transport, airport, utility and mining sectors. Additionally, Williams Communications Services, which was recently awarded a contract by the Government of Ontario to provide PowerTrunk TETRA network infrastructure and associated user radio equipment for a total of 31 correctional facilities, provided the public with an overview of its managed services and systems integration capabilities.
