Schuler to Host a Seminar on Dieless Laser Masking for the Metallurgical Industry

Schuler and MetalForming Magazine to Showcase Smart, Cost-Effective Laser Cutting Solutions for Structural and Class A Quality Parts
CANTON, MI /ACCESSWIRE/June 16, 2022/ Schuler North America, a subsidiary of Schuler Group GmbH, and Metal Forming Magazine partner to present a free webinar, “Die-Free Blanking Class A Quality & Structural Parts: 5 Smart Solutions with Laser Blanking Technology.” The live seminar will be presented on Friday, July 8eat 10:00 a.m. EST.
The seminar will educate attendees on how laser cutting technology offers additional unique, cost-effective and sustainable manufacturing capabilities that conventional cutting does not – with absolute flexibility, optimized efficiency and maximum part quality for a variety of materials.
“The market is not fully aware of the high volume mass production results of laser cutting lines, up to 45 pieces per minute. This significantly reduces the productivity gap compared to conventional die-cutting lines,” says Justine Fonteyne, Area Sales Manager of the Americas at Schuler Group GmbH. “Manufacturers are pleased with the drastic reduction in equipment investment, as laser cutting lines have no dies, press foundations, loop or press pits, die cranes or storage areas for matrices. Material savings are also made possible by laser cutting techniques enhanced by Schuler’s DynamicFlow technology.
Schuler’s seminar will be organized by Fonteyne. Fonteyne has been working closely with the metalworking industry, in particular with world-renowned automotive OEMs and world-class suppliers, for over five years. Using Fonteyne’s specialty market expertise and technical proficiency, Schuler sold three laser cutting lines in the United States alone last year, helping American manufacturers achieve high production and competitive.
“Schuler is the only vendor providing DynamicFlow technology to the industry, and Schuler North America has the largest local support team and the most technical know-how in the United States,” said Kevin McAllister, president of Schuler North America. “Schuler is ready to serve the expanding market with this beneficial and proven laser technology and adapt it to the unique needs of each metal fabricator.”
Schuler’s seminar will cover the basics of laser cutting with introductory content suitable for all metalworking professionals. Attendees will also learn about customizable laser cutting solutions for producing high-strength steel, aluminum and stainless steel parts, and they will have the opportunity after the seminar to get answers to questions relevant to their production needs. and products.
