What a comeback from Brentford!

1-0 down with less than 10 minutes remaining, Brenford fans are chanting hey Jude after a late 2-1 against Watford.

Pontus Jannson equalized for Brentford in the 84th minute. Thomas Frank’s side received a penalty in the closing stages of added time – Bryan Mbuemo converted from the spot.

Leicester set to complain to UEFA about Europa League fan delay against Napoli

Leicester City intend to file a complaint with UEFA over the treatment of their traveling supporters in Naples on Thursday night after police led their coaches the wrong way causing them to miss the start of their Europa League defeat against Napoli.

Leicester lost the game 3-2, a result that saw the Premier League club drop into the inaugural UEFA Europa Conference League.

La Liga clubs vote in favor of CVC deal

La Liga clubs have approved a €2.1 billion investment deal with private equity fund CVC Capital Partners, despite opposition from Real Madrid, Barcelona and Athletic Bilbao.

At a La Liga general meeting on Friday, 37 of Spain’s 42 first- and second-tier clubs voted in favor of the deal. Real Madrid, Barcelona, ​​Athletic Bilbao and one other club voted against, with another unnamed club abstaining.

At least 32 of the 42 teams in Spain’s first and second divisions had to back the deal to get it through.
