“The LessMess team is going to Port Stephens in May to teach us how to (create) less mess with meal planning,” Ms Abbott said.
“In June and August, we will learn to live with less and in September, to create an intentional wardrobe.”
The first workshop will take place on May 7, 2022 at the Raymond Terrace Library, facilitated by Susanne Thiebe, an expert professional organizer with thirteen years of experience and a member of the Board of Directors of the Institute of Professional Organisers.
Meal planning workshop topics will include how planning your meals will improve your family’s health and save the environment, healthy eating for your family, ways to save money on groceries, reduced food waste and less stress at dinner time.
On June 28 and August 13, the program will hit Tomaree Library and Raymond Terrace Library, back-to-back, to help people reduce clutter in their lives, reduce household chores, and regain some breathing space.
The final workshop will take place on September 17 at the Raymond Terrace Library and will introduce Port Stephens residents to decluttering and organizing textiles; difficult routines and finding ways to recycle or trade second-hand resources.
Reservations are essential for all workshops and seats can be reserved by contacting Raymond Terrace Library on 4988 0111 and Tomaree Library on 4988 0670.
All workshops will last two hours from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
