Mangaluru: the chemistry department of St Agnes College organizes a seminar for undergraduate students

Mangaluru, May 28: The Postgraduate Department of Chemistry at St Agnes College (Freestanding), Mangaluru held a seminar on 27 May. The MC of the event was Anjali from first year MSc.
The program began at 2:30 p.m. with a prayer song led by Sneha Treesa and a band followed by Amritha’s welcome to the gathering. The guest was offered a token of love by Likitha U, Assistant Professor, PG Department of Chemistry. Subin gave a brief introduction on resource person Dr Vijesh AM, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry, Payyanur College, Kerala, who was the speaker for the day.
This was followed by a lecture by Dr. Vijesh A M. He gave different criteria for choosing a career and how to achieve it. He also made chemistry students understand the different types of job opportunities after earning a degree or postgraduate degree in chemistry. He also informed about the different colleges and the different courses they offer after masters degree. The program ended at 4:30 p.m. with the vote of thanks given by Anusree. Undergraduate and postgraduate chemistry students have been the beneficiaries.
