Kalahari Resorts and Conventions Makes Waves with New Float for 95th Annual Macy’s® Thanksgiving Parade
NEW YORK & WISCONSIN DELLS, Wis.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Kalahari Resorts and Conventions returns to Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade® this year with the “Colossal Wave of Wonder”, a brand new float experience. Hot on the heels of the brand’s much-loved “Splashin’ Safari Adventure” float that debuted in 2018, Kalahari has once again teamed up with Macy’s to delight millions of viewers for the iconic Parade’s 95th celebration on Thursday. November 25.

The new float captures a family of elephants in the water in excited anticipation as a wave surges ahead of the downhill adventure. With a dizzying explosion of glitter from her trunk, the majestic mum and bubble-blowing baby elephants ride the colossal wave of wonder alongside a surfer rhino and a swimming octopus. Bright lighting creates a rippling water effect in this fun scene. Inspired by a family trip to Africa, the magic and beauty of the continent is brought to life with the colorful animals and a flowing skirt showcasing an original design by renowned South African artist Karabo Poppy.
