HELLA supports mobility transformation workshops
Workshops face major challenges as mobility changes. Electric-powered vehicles, for example, require different components, services and support. The trend towards automated driving is also leading to a significant increase in complexity. As a “friend of the workshop” and with its original equipment expertise, the lighting and electronics specialist HELLA is positioning itself as a complete solution provider in the aftermarket. Visitors to Automechanika, which is taking place this year from September 13 to 17 in Frankfurt am Main, can see for themselves the unique added value that HELLA offers to independent workshops in Hall 9.0 Stand A80.
“Vehicle systems and components are becoming increasingly complex. This also increases the demands on the workshops,” explains Stefan van Dalen, Head of HELLA’s Global Aftermarket Business. “As an original equipment manufacturer, HELLA is at the forefront of the evolution of mobility. At the same time, we are empowering our aftermarket partners to successfully master this transformation by offering everything from a single source: from smart diagnostics and calibration options to effective training, product and assembly information, and related spare parts. This not only puts us in a unique position, but above all helps our partners in the aftermarket to cope with increasing demands and to make daily workshop work more efficient.
For example, the free and freely accessible service HELLA Tech World offers comprehensive product information in the form of how-to videos, technical information and assembly instructions. In addition, partners can enroll in the HELLA Academy to deepen their knowledge during practical exercises on different vehicles. Another element is the comprehensive diagnostic and calibration solutions from Hella Gutmann Solutions.
“HELLA offers solutions from independent workshops even before the problem arises. This is becoming increasingly important, especially given big trending topics such as electromobility and automated driving,” van Dalen said. “The HELLA aftermarket product range already includes over 700 products for e-mobility. We are also very well positioned in automated driving. HELLA products already cover around 60% of the applications in driver assistance systems. And the number continues to increase.
