Headlines – Ministry of Aging and Disability Announces Educational Workshops for Caregivers in June

Annapolis, MD (June 1, 2022) – The Department of Aging and Disabilities and Encore Creativity for Older Adults is pleased to announce that the Sentimental Journey Singers choral program is coming to Anne Arundel County. Sentimental Journey Singers is designed for people with early to moderate Alzheimer’s disease or other cognitive impairments. Singers and their care partners will enjoy singing familiar and new songs and appreciate the social aspect of choral singing.
Every singer should have a care partner. Participants must be vaccinated against Covid 19 and must wear a mask during rehearsals. The 15-week program begins September 6, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. and will meet weekly at the Pascal Senior Activity Center (125 Dorsey Road, Glen Burnie).
This program is presented free of charge by the National Caregiver Support Program of the Anne Arundel County Department of Aging and Disability.
