Free Seminar on Property Apartment Law of Maharashtra by AAP
The Mira Bhayandar unit of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) held a free orientation seminar on Sunday on the Maharashtra Property Apartments Act (Regulation of Promotion of Construction, Sale, Management and Transfer ) (MOFA) and on the deemed transfer to Mira Road.
The seminar will be held at Swaminarayan Hall in the Shanti Nagar area of Mira Road between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. CA Ramesh Prabhu, an expert from MOFA and RERA, who is also the President of the Maharashtra Societies Welfare Association, will guide the participants. Notably, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) volunteers led by Narendra Bhambwani and Sukhdev Benbansi assisted plaintiffs in filing an FIR as part of its “Aapka Ghar, Aaapki Zameen” campaign to protect the property rights of local citizens and housing companies in the twin. -town.
The AAP has played an important role in helping people bring criminal cases against construction companies in the twin town for not deeding (transferring) land on behalf of the housing company within the time allowed. Hundreds of housing and trading companies in the twin city are still registered under the names of developers or owners, which can only deprive current owners of the benefits of future redevelopment schemes.
