Food and Wine Festival on November 20 at Kalahari Resorts and Conventions
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Round Rock, Texas has announced its first food and wine festival. This culinary celebration will take place on Sunday, November 20 and will feature dishes from iconic Kalahari restaurants as well as tastings from over 40 of Texas’ top wineries, distilleries and craft breweries.
The festival will also feature live music throughout the resort, as well as a special guest appearance and tasting from Texas’ own Michelin-starred chef and former chef John Tesar.
Brandon Wise, Deputy General Manager of Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Round Rock and lead event organizer, joined Studio 512 co-host Stephanie Gilbert to tell us more.
“The owners and founders of Kalahari Resorts, the Nelson family, have a genuine love, passion and
commitment to culinary excellence at all four of their stations,” Wise said.
“The Food & Wine Festival demonstrates once again that we take food seriously and open up
a chance to sample all we have to offer Metro Austin residents [area].”
Food & Wine Festival tickets are $75 per person and include a “tasting passport” good for
cuisine at iconic Kalahari restaurants, drinks from over 40 of Texas’ top wineries,
distilleries and craft breweries, live music throughout the resort, and a souvenir glass of wine. Guests must be over 21 to attend the event.
“Everyone will enjoy this festival, from those with the most discerning palates to people who are just looking for a fun day out,” Wise continued. “Customers will appreciate anything that is handmade
from burgers at B-Lux to premium steaks at Double Cut and pastries at Last Bite.”
