Fife Arms launches new Easter craft workshops

New Easter Art Room program includes workshops such as Observational Drawing, Monoprinting, Clay Modeling, Willow Weaving, Mini Landscape Planters and Folk Art Decorating inspired by the story of the Easter Hare, the heritage of Braemar and the landscapes surrounding the hotel.
Several of the artists and makers who run the workshops will be showcasing specially commissioned Easter products, made exclusively and available from the Fife Arms Hotel shop and online store.
Easter Egg Decorating with Artist Tracey Johnston – Artist and illustrator Tracey Johnston will demonstrate the art of decorating traditional wooden eggs with beautiful folk designs that will become Easter family treasures for years to come. Easter Hare Tales with the Heckleburn Quines – Working under the creative collective name of ‘The Heckleburn Quines’, visual artist Mel Shand, ceramicist Hilary Duncan and basket maker Helen Jackson will lead a thrilling multimedia session inspired by their very own ‘Easter Hare Tale Easter Miniature Landscape Workshop with Florist Chloe MacIntyre – Florist Chloe MacIntyre will show guests how to create magical miniature landscapes using moss, seasonal embellishments, twigs and spring bulbs in rustic containers. These can be taken home or displayed in the Fife Arms as part of the hotel’s seasonal decor in April.Fife Arms Easter Eggs Hunt – Family fun is guaranteed on Easter Sunday, perusing the stunning interiors and the garden of the Fife Arms Hotel on a special Easter egg hunt to find beautifully decorated wooden eggs made by the a artist Tracey Johnston.
