Cybercrime Seminar: The Tribune India

Kurukshetra: The Institute of Integrated and Specialized Studies of the University of Kurukshetra, in collaboration with the Research Center for Women’s Studies, organized a seminar on cybercrimes and cyberhygiene for students. Dr. Amit from the Department of Computer Science, BITS, Pilani, was the keynote speaker. Dr. Anita Dua, Director of the Women’s Studies Research Center, welcomed the guests and briefed the students on the importance of cybercrime awareness.
Faculty Development Event Ends
Faridabad: The five-day faculty development program on “Computer Vision and Image Processing” organized by the Department of Computer Engineering, JC Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad, took place finished here. About 45 faculty members and researchers from various institutions participated in the program. The program was sponsored by AICTE. The Dean of Computer Science and Computing Faculty, Prof. Komal Kumar Bhatia and the President, Prof. Atul Mishra were present on the occasion. The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. SK Tomar commended the department for bringing the program to a successful conclusion.
Awareness program
Karnal: As part of the Puneet Sagar Abhiyan, an initiative to protect bodies of water, NCC cadets from 7 Battalion Haryana NCC conducted an outreach program for the conservation of bodies of water and aquatic life. The program was conducted under the direction of Col Naresh Arya. Class XII cadets and Lt. ANO Richa Sharma from Pratap Public School, Sector 6 also contributed to the program. The principal, Dr. Puja Mann, appreciated the cadets who also sensitized the locals on the issue.
