June is a busy month for the public program at NRCG and Ignite Studios, with a range of free and paid artist talks and workshop offerings for the community.

Young Explorers: Workshop for Specialized Schools with Lea Kannar-Lichtenberger

Spanning art and science, in this workshop, guest artist Lea Kannar-Lichtenberger will guide young explorers in how to observe and represent the local river environment. Participants will use images of the region to create drawings that not only explore nature, but also how humans have had and continue to have an impact on it. Lea will also present an artist talk on her exhibition presented simultaneously in the gallery.
