An information seminar on irrigation will be held at Steele

STEELE, ND (NDIA) – The North Dakota Irrigation Association and the Central Dakota Irrigation District are hosting an information seminar Feb. 17 at 2 p.m. at the Pifer Auction Center in Steele, ND for area irrigators.
This seminar will feature an update on aquifer levels in the region and a discussion of what irrigators can expect in the coming year.
The North Dakota Irrigation Association is pleased to partner with the Central Dakota Irrigation District in hosting this important seminar and invites all interested irrigators to attend this training session.
“We know that last year’s drought had an impact on the aquifers that we use to irrigate our crops. While we are all grateful for the moisture we have received this winter, it is important that all irrigators are made aware of our current situation regarding aquifer levels and engage in conversation about what it might look like. next irrigation season,” said Loren DeWitz, president of the North Dakota Irrigation Association.
