AMD, Intel and NVIDIA will hold their CES 2022 press conferences on January 4, 2022, expect lots of announcements!
AMD, Intel and NVIDIA have announced their respective CES 2022 conferences which will take place on the same day. The conferences will take place on January 4, 2022 and will include tons of announcements regarding next-gen technologies and products.
AMD, Intel, and NVIDIA set to host CES 2022 press conference on same day
The three giants, AMD, Intel, NVIDIA will organize their conferences at CES 2022. AMD, Intel and NVIDIA have revealed that they will organize their conferences on the same day, a few hours apart. Here are the times and dates for keynotes and press conferences:
- AMD – January 4 – 07:00 PST (15:00 GMT)
- Nvidia – January 4 – 08:00 PST (16:00 GMT)
- Intel- January 4 – 10:00 a.m. PST (6:00 p.m. GMT)
AMD will be the first to present its CES 2022 press conference on January 4 at 07:00 PST (15:00 GMT) which will be followed by NVIDIA’s press conference an hour later at 08:00 PST (16:00 GMT) followed by the keynote Intel’s opening hours which begin at 10:00 a.m. PST (6:00 p.m. GMT).
All three keynotes will be streamed live and while CES 2022 isn’t entirely a virtual showcase, there will still be a majority of the press watching it virtually due to the Omicron variant outbreak. As for what to expect, each company will have its own list of products to showcase.
AMD CES 2022 – What to expect
AMD’s CES 2022 keynote is likely to host a range of products, particularly Ryzen’s next-gen CPU/APU lineup for consumer and high-performance laptops. The new lineup will be known as Rembrandt and will power the Ryzen 6000H and Ryzen 6000U laptops and will be paired with Zen 3 and RDNA 2 architectures. On top of that, AMD might also provide us with more details regarding its upcoming Zen 3D processors. V-Cache ‘Vermeer-X’ which are expected to launch in the first quarter of 2022.
Moving on to GPUs, AMD is likely to introduce more entry-level RDNA 2 designs based on the Navi 24 architecture, and to kick off 2022 they might even give us an updated roadmap so we can figure out where go Navi and AMD’s GPU division. .
Intel CES 2022 – What to expect
After a strong comeback in the desktop department, Intel plans to beef up even more muscle on the laptop side. Alder Lake mobility processors are expected to be introduced in a ton of designs, high-end Alder Lake-P and entry-level Alder Lake-M systems will be on display during CES 2022. Apart from that, Intel is also expected to release its 12th generation non-K CPU SKUs for the desktop platform as well as more common 600-series chipsets such as the B660 and H670.
Intel has been quiet about its ARC Alchemist GPUs since Architecture Day 2021 and since Alder Lake laptops will be configured with discrete Alchemist solutions, we’ll likely hear more about them during the event.
NVIDIA CES 2022 – What to expect
NVIDIA will certainly be present at CES 2022 with its conference confirmed for January 4 at 08:00 PST and we can expect big announcements such as the rumored RTX 3090 Ti, RTX 3080 12GB, RTX 3070 Ti 16GB and GPU flagship for the RTX 3080 Ti laptop that will be featured in Intel’s next-generation Alder Lake-P laptops.
The three giants therefore have their bags full for CES 2022 and we can’t wait to see if they have any surprises in store for us.
