Adopted Sports Seminar Held at PCP

PESHAWAR, (APP – UrduPoint/Pakistan Point News – June 19, 2022): An Adopted Sports Seminar was organized by the Sports Directorate General Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at the Peshawar Paraplegic Center (PCP).
The staff of the center, the patients and the persons in charge of the Direction Générale des Sports took part.
International athletes Zawar Zia Noor, Engineer Irfan, Ayaz Khan, Altaf Ullah and Ehsan Danish addressed the gathering. Gohar Rehman, head of the center’s physiotherapy department and deputy director Ashfaq Ahmed was the chief guest on the occasion.
Head Coach Shafqat Ullah and Aizaz Nawaz were talking to the assembly about training techniques and the importance of regular training for people with different abilities.
It should be recalled that the KP Sports Branch initiated the seminar to sensitize people with different abilities in addition to reviewing sports facilities for them throughout the province.
In this regard, seminars are also held in all districts to sensitize people with different abilities and guide them to come and play in addition to ensuring their active participation.
The seminar also discussed in detail the provision of facilities for people with different abilities in addition to the games related to them would be organized in all districts. The speakers highlighted the importance of adaptive sports and the abilities of people with different abilities and said that they are very talented and if they have basic facilities they can make a name for themselves for the country and the world globally. Shafqat Ullah said that Hikmat Ali is preparing to provide sports facilities for people with disabilities and organize sports competitions at all levels in the future.
He also appreciated the players of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa who excelled at national and international level and did not let their disability and hardship as obstacles in their path and made it a unique place in the field of sport at international level.
At the end, the guests distributed certificates and commemorative shields to all the participants of the seminar organized by the General Directorate of Sports Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
